PRIMARY FUNCTION: Apartment
INSPIRATION: The inspiration of the project is based on Iranian and indigenous architecture.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Larma apartment project is designed in 6 floors and 12 units. It is located in the north of Iran, Mazandaran. Due to the climatic conditions of Mazandaran, rainfall in winter and autumn, a gable roof is used, which is a model of old and native architecture. The architecture of this building is inspired by Iranian and also local architecture. Using bricks, that is a symbol of Iranian architecture and local materials, is one of the main ideas of this project. To respect the environment, shrubs and green plants in the facade that symbolizes the forests of Mazandaran are used.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The use of brick materials, which is a symbol of Iranian architecture.
And the use of green architecture
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design of project started in July 2021 and finished in February 2022. The location of project is Royan of Iran.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The softwares by which the Larma projects have been designed are AutoCAD, SketchUp, Corona Render, and 3ds Max.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The dimensions of project are 15 m in width x 25 m in length x 30.75 m in height.

CHALLENGE: Decorations had a special place in Iranian architecture and colored glass is a symbol of Iranian architecture. Using colored glass between the wooden frames of windows and corridors and stair windows that radiant colored light in the building, In addition to their beauty, Iranians believe that it keeps insects and reptiles away.
Moreover, using large and green terraces is a symbol of the yards of Mazandaran.
