| DESIGN NAME: AC Hotel by Marriott PRIMARY FUNCTION: Common Areas INSPIRATION: AC Hotel by Marriott Cracow is a new concept of the world's largest international chain of luxury hotels. The project combines the spaciousness of the space with well-developed functional zones. It is adapted to ensure the highest level of comfort for guests. The dynamic, three-dimensional shape of the hotel stands in contrast to the simple, bright, timeless interiors. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The colors of the rooms are mainly brown and beige, thanks to which, despite the monumentality of the entire arrangement, you do not feel overwhelmed, and the interiors are cozy. The Marriott brand places great emphasis on introducing art into its projects, and at the Marriott AC Cracow there is a lot of it. In addition to custom-made paintings we come across the works of artists at every turn. Specially designed places for beautiful, "natural" tree sculptures, sometimes integrated into the wall OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The project combines the spaciousness of the space with well-developed functional zones. It is adapted to ensure the highest level of comfort for guests. The idea of the project was timelessness and simplicity. The interiors are elegant, luxurious, but also cozy. The combination of art, local craftsmanship and greenery that imperceptibly penetrates the interior creates an amazing character of the interior and leaves a great impression. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The interiors are the essence of classic American style.The architects focused on the natural colors of the earth, browns and beiges, interspersed with delicate golden accents, juxtaposing them with noble grays and wood. Thanks to that, despite the monumentality of the whole establishment, you do not feel overwhelmed, and the interiors are cozy. Art also plays an important role in interior design. Specially designed places for beautiful, natural tree sculptures, sometimes integrated into the wall, creates a mini gallery, pleasing the eyes of visitors. The designers wanted the hotel to be aesthetically attractive both from the outside and inside, so that staying in it would give a sense of comfort and unpretentious luxury. The colors of the earth are a nod to nature that surrounds the hotel on all sides. Greenery was also invited to the interior in the form of potted plants, green walls and olive trees. CHALLENGE: The Tremend studio is well known for its unique custom-designed and custom-made furniture and graphics. They have designed all the graphics for carpets. The Marriott brand places great emphasis on introducing art into its projects, and there is a lot of this in a hotel in Cracow.
