| DESIGN NAME: Vestel Evin Akli PRIMARY FUNCTION: Smart Home App INSPIRATION: Today, smart houses offer us a very secure, practical, safe environment. Vestel smart home appliances are part of this smart environment and they are working with Vestel Evin Akli. The user’s existing smart devices are kept available to development with the new features and programs that will be added to the application. Evin Akli's meticulously created, flexible software and design architecture, users easily adapts to new devices and features that will be added. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Evin Akli which is a mobile and television application developed for users to control and monitor their connected home appliances remotely anytime, from anywhere. With the new home structure, users can create rooms and place their devices to them. In this way, users can view and arrange their homes digitally. Other members of the family can be also invited to the home. Thus, other users of the family can share devices with the same structure and be aware of the device status and controls simultaneously. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Evin Akli application has an easily understandable and usable UX, UI design and information architecture. Thanks to the application, remote commands can be given to the devices and the status of the devices can be learned. It provides convenience to the customer with its specialized functions such as remote control, family member, home structure, assistant, user scenarios, Easybill and Be a Chef. Consistent UI and information architecture results in unified UX and enables users to control devices intuitively. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Application is available on the market for both iOS and android users. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The application is designed for all android, iOS smart phone, tablet sizes and wider smart televisions. TAGS: smart home, home appliances, technology, smart devices, mobile application, smart tv app, remote control, remote monitoring RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Vestel UX Group do user researches according to appropriate user group for defining exact user needs and related project guidelines. UX Group, after user journey maps, combines them with suitable interfaces for create better user experiences for users. While designing interfaces, user research insights, emotional impacts, usage scenarios, various design architecture systems and actual design trends are considered. CHALLENGE: Evin Akli aims to meet user's need for smart appliances, not only as physical products, but also as a digital bridge between users and devices. Evin Akli, ecosystem includes various different type of home appliances (oven, refrigerator, washer, dryer, air purifier, robot vacuum cleaner, etc.) and tries to integrate all of them to this ecosystem with a seamless user journey. The biggest challenge here is keeping the similar, coherent structure for the whole devices and always present the up-to-date device status to the user.
