| DESIGN NAME: Flora PRIMARY FUNCTION: Multifunctional Sofa INSPIRATION: The film needs to convey the product's design elements, functional characteristics, craftsmanship, and the value of life aesthetics. Through the artistic interpretation of the design elements and the presentation of digital art, the function and aesthetics of the product are vividly reproduced. The film enables viewers to perceive the beauty of the product's design concept and material craftsmanship. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Flora sofa is inspired by blooming flowers. The cushions on the backrest and armrests can be adjusted to suit the height of each individual and makes the experience more comfortable and pleasant for the person sitting on the sofa. Flora adapts to diverse scenarios, making it ideal for urban apartments and small public spaces. The cover can be made of fabric, eco-friendly leather, or Italian cowhide. All these quality materials can be used for the best sofa experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This is a CG animated video. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was launched on May 20, 2021, and the final version of this video was delivered on July 22, 2021. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: CGI animation. All elements are modeled in 3D. Cinema 4D is used for animation, while Redshift is applied for rendering. The final composition is performed in Adobe After Effects. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 1920 1080 Full HD. Frame Rate 25fps TAGS: Sofa, furniture, CGI, art, computer animation, design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This is a delegated project. COMO needs to produce a film that can reflect the brand style and demonstrate features and design aesthetics of the product. The film is expected to display the product characteristics three-dimensionally through emotional scheduling, artistic deconstruction, picture composition, materials, lighting, and theme design. CHALLENGE: The images shown in the film must have a high degree of aesthetics, and the materials and texture must be pleasing to the eye and as real as possible so as to convince the audience. The transition between images needs to be natural and smooth in rhythm.
