| DESIGN NAME: Bamboo Joint PRIMARY FUNCTION: Modular Shelf INSPIRATION: The bamboo joint design is inspired by the bamboo joints. The bamboo joints are exposed, and the bamboo is slightly elevated, and it is born with joints, which is regarded as a symbol of integrity. Bamboo is known as the gentleman of bamboo in China. The ancient Chinese poet Su Shi loved bamboo and wrote: It is better to eat without meat than to live without bamboo. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Bamboo joint is a modular furniture used by small-sized households and renters under the Internet environment. The support rods are designed like bamboo joints, and the laminates are installed without tools due to their own gravity. It can be assembled by DIY, and the flat packaging is convenient for transportation. Users can purchase individual plates and metal rods in the mall as needed. When the product is worn out, users can send the accessories to the mall for replacement or recycling. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Insert the 4 support rods into the pre-drilled holes of the laminate and press them firmly. The number of laminates can be installed according to the needs. And users can DIY and assemble them according to the space and functional requirements of the house. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Bamboo joint consists of environmentally friendly solid wood panels, metal support rods and head knobs. The environmental protection sheet has holes, and the holes are equipped with rubber pads, which can strengthen the connection between the sheet and the metal support rod.
