RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This project is a 20-year-old second-hand building; the water pipelines have been completely replaced and modified. The overall space is specially planned with independence and privacy to give every care to female customers; they will be experiencing a 6-star treatment and enjoy a safe and comfy examination experience. The hand-painted wall of the staircase hall entrance is shaped like a mountain; it is placed behind the river stream that practices a feng shui metaphor while creating an art gallery-like feeling. Overall, the space boldly applied a massive amount of stones and veneers in various colors to collage.
CHALLENGE: The water pipelines and toilet designs are fully restored in the client's second-hand building. The original low-beam is modified with an arc-shaped construction method that complies with fire protection regulations. This method is different from traditional executions and has reflected a sense of streamlined and high-tech speed while softening the square edges and corners. Furthermore, many curved walls are designed to eliminate edges and corners and create a sense of movement.
