RESEARCH ABSTRACT: When the service was released in 2014, online invitations were a completely new service in Japan. In order to build a market, we continued to discuss the direction of the service, its design and functions, and have renewed the website. As a result, web-based invitations have become familiar in Japan. By incorporating the opinions of the generation who will hold weddings in the future, we aim to provide a service that delivers a good experience for the bride, groom and their guests.
CHALLENGE: Until recently, there was a deep-rooted belief in Japan that it was rude to send wedding invitations not in sealed envelopes. Therefore, web invitations were mostly for casual wedding parties, and designs and functions were simple. However, we put an importance on luxury for prestigious wedding parties. By displaying multiple photos and videos on a full screen and adding effects as viewers scroll, we appeal to the hearts of viewers.
