DESIGN NAME: Lotus Leaf
PRIMARY FUNCTION: End Table
INSPIRATION: Inspired by the art of origami, the Lotus End Table is designed with two identical parts, which can be used together or separately. Removing unnecessary frills, this table with straight lines and simple geometric shapes will surely be favored by minimalists. Combining acrylic and solid wood, it not only retains the closeness between furniture and people, but integrates chic elements to bring a modern touch.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Light luxury, a low-key yet quality lifestyle, is becoming more and more popular among young people. This end table with a light luxury style is in line with this trend.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This is a transparent side table. The design is inspired by lotus leaves. Through the refinement and optimization of its shape, the side table becomes more vivid and interesting, giving users a natural feeling.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Turin in June 2021, completed in zheng zhou in July 2021.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: It combines acrylic and solid wood creatively in this table, with an integrally formed table top.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 485mm x 500mm x420mm, using flat-panel detachable packaging to reduce transportation volume.

CHALLENGE: The application and production process of transparent materials is the biggest problem in the implementation of this design scheme.
