| DESIGN NAME: Aru Meng PRIMARY FUNCTION: Visual Identity INSPIRATION: It is necessary to draw inspiration from artist’s creation to create brand identity of an artist. Integrate it into the visual communication to show the unique characteristics. The creative concept is inspired by the most representative creation, "Alien ARU" by Artist Aru Meng. ARU is a fictional alien in the work. It is not limited to any image and has no specific size. The artist will include the head of ARU in every creation. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The identity takes the surprise from ARU's creation, and concretize "nothing is impossible" in art and "if" as visual starting point. Through the " Exclamation mark /! " from inspiration emerges, it is combined with the look of ARU. Disassembled from the details of creation and transformed into simple logo, which is recognizable and impressive at a glance. The typical and highly connected image completely conveys the artist's characteristics and extends to subsequent exhibitions and art exhibits. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The charm of recognition and association brought by the work: During the design discussion with ARU Meng, we can feel that Aru was full of creative ideas and enthusiasm for creation. When we appreciate her creation, we can often see the big head ARU hiding in the work depicted by her. Through many discussions and layers of analysis, the alien ARU created by her is transformed into a distinctive recognition image, which makes people recognize and impressive at a glance. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The standard characters are designed to work in concert with round lines of the logo. The details of a smiling face hidden in the U are derived from the smiling face on the word, U when the artist signs the signature, which symbolizes the appreciation of the beauty of art. At the same time, the origin at the top is consistent with the eyes in the logo. The overall image perfectly interprets the unique charm of the artist, Aru Meng and her creation of ARU.
