DESIGN NAME: Life Flow
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Commercial Space
INSPIRATION: The project is proposed by the first branch of the design company in Taiwan during the severe epidemic in 2020. For the company's brand identity, it also reconstructs the conference elements, by using a light and luxurious style as a new tone in the small interior space of Taiwan society, aiming to create a ritual aesthetic in such space.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The idea is that the design is the exquisite goods of the brand; in other words, the design of the brand itself is the exquisite goods. The space with distinguishing elements has been reconstructed to include sample cabinets and showcases. With introverted lighting in the partitions, the previous works are used as the most beautiful backdrop for the art window. The abstract design is transformed into a brand-new visual experience, a focus for people to stop by as cars speed past.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The idea is that the design is the exquisite goods of the brand; in other words, the design of the brand itself is the exquisite goods. The space with distinguishing elements has been reconstructed to include sample cabinets and showcases. With introverted lighting in the partitions, the previous works are used as the most beautiful backdrop for the art window. Reading expressions of light and shadow in detail, you can also savor the value of the exhibit. Customers can appreciate the beauty of samples as well while selecting the material.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 2020 and finished in November 2020 in Hsinchu county, Taiwan.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Over the front counter is decorated with starry light units, and the continuity of the light units highlight the regional space. The light source guides your sight to the splash ink-like marble; in combination with the golden iron punching plate, these materials and units simply form a picturesque corner.
In the store, a comfortable and cozy sofa area is created, with cushion and velvet carpets, to render an immense home-like experience, and express a light extravagant feeling. This area is so suitable for both the welcome reception and design discussion, without deliberately defining the space, to stand out the maximum value of the space.
For the store, its exquisite goods are the best decoration. The front of the sofa area is designed to have the display cabinets, with the awarded medals for years and system samples. The design of the brand itself is the exquisite goods. When you carefully read the light and shadow expressions, with the introverted lighting of the partition, you also savor the displayed exquisite goods at the same time.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Reconstructing the conference space to create a comfortable sofa space.
Due to the severe outbreak of epidemic in 2021, videoconferencing replaces face-to-face conversation, and the conference space is no longer a discussion at the table, but a discussion in front of the video camera. This area is so suitable for both the welcome reception and design discussion, without deliberately defining the space, to stand out the maximum value of the space.
A soft and comfortable Chesterfield sofa replaces stiff chairs, creating a home-like immersive experience with a light and luxurious impression.
CHALLENGE: In a city where every inch of land is precious, companies are hardly willing to give up the sunniest and most scenic part of the shop to a meeting area. In addition to reconstructing the conference space, the idea of interior design itself is integrated into the conference space with the overall design, bringing out the mainstream style expectations for the spatial atmosphere of the new generation.
The design of the space has been reconsidered, returning to needs of space users and thinking changes of the times to find the most appropriate design elements. In the post-epidemic era, we keep thinking about whether we can talk to each other in a more comfortable space.
In addition to the right equipment for remote video conferencing, a good social distance must also be a priority, so that meetings are not held in a rigid space, but are a home-like immersive experience. This allows everyone who comes to the shop to communicate more comfortably, and discussions continue more efficiently.
