| DESIGN NAME: Yunyang in Huanan PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition Center INSPIRATION: The design introduces Danyang's water town culture and local lens industries in series. The translucent walls which came to symbolized the spirits of the water town where past and present weave a magical spell.The planting trees and water courtyard, and start an illuminated journey by the water level lights.The five scenes of landscape are interacting in the natural approach of artistic design, and truly realizing the integration community that conspires with the light and lives. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The pricinple transition upgrade,from functional, emotional, spiritual dimension.To celebrates the innovative and imagination creativity in heartwarming tales.The experience of the integration of tradition and modernity, is shuttle in nature, a journey of chasing light.The water line runs through the whole site.The Mirrored water courtyard creates calm and tranquility. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Passing through the glass curtain wall,which mixed of modern and ancient rhythm and vitality of the space.The backfield with a huge amount of planting and multi-level water features with switching of different spatial feelings. The light from water surface refracts vary light and shadow through scenery wall.Glass walls and art sculpture at night further emphasized purity of the space.Sitting outside, the whispering and streams of the leaves blown by wind.The light stroke as if listening live concert of the nature. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February 2020 and finished in June 2020 in Danyang,Jiangsu Province in China. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Glass wall, imitation wood ,corrugated board and colorless glass stone. Issue of linear glass brick for nineteen meters of long arc walls, the linkage design institute and manufacturers constantly adjust the arc.Through repeated adjustment of the radian, the final internal arc ensures aesthetics, smoothness and safety. Increase the abundance of the harvesting planting.The illuminated light strip highlighted the backfield and flow shadows especially at night which casting shadows on the sheer face to symbolize the sleeping spirits of the water town where past and present weave a magical spell . SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project of Landscape design covers a total of 4,693 square meters. TAGS: Garden , Sculpture, Nature, Modern, Visiting experience, Transparency, Landscape, Light, Shadow RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Research Background: The project is located in the South China section of Dan-yang High-tech Zone, which is a new urban center planned by government. The surrounding transportation is relatively convenient, infrastructure is relatively updated. Methods: Glass and light to interpret the industrial culture, transit water to communicate tradition and modernity. To practice the continuous interaction between demonstration area and future residential era. Tools: The Mirrored water courtyard creates tranquility. In the meanwhile, glass curtain wall as the guideline of the pedestrians has increased the rhythm and vitality of the space. The leaf-shaped platform emerges as the multi-level stacking of water features a communal and playable. The gallery is extended with sample houses. The former one has converted into community gym for diversified life needs of the customers. Participants: Residents and visitors Results: The light refracts vary light and shadow through scenery wall.The glass wall and art sculpture on the water surface at night further emphasized purity of the space.To the outside, the whispering and streams of the leaves blown by wind.The light stroke as if listening live concert of the nature. Insights and Impacts: Despite integrated the water culture and ecology of the city ,will also become the landmark celebrates and technological innovation of heartwarming tales. CHALLENGE: CREATIVE: The ecological light valley and sea of flowers created by unfold towards municipal pavement . The art sculptures embellish the elegant irregular corridor increases the rhythm and vitality of experience of space.The illuminated starlight which casting the shadows the sheer face. Meanwhile, the wall became to symbolize the spirits of the water town. The leaf-shaped platform, shore water, flowing water. The multi-level stacking of waterscapes is access to all. When the light is sprinkled, the shadows of the green trees presented a magical spell.When sitting outside, the wind blows by the leaves and whispers, and the light strokes the earth, as if listening the nature concert.The gallery frame in the back yard is integrated with the two model houses. As part of the reception space, it can not only view the gallery, but also extend the experience space of the model house. CHALLENGE: In Dan yang,industrial culture is well developed. Initially, the design team concerned that how to interpret a landscape project represented of locality.Moreover, seamless mix of tradition and modernity .To fulfill the potentials of modern communities to the local area.Finally,to permanently preserve and reshape multi functional landscape.
