PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Space
INSPIRATION: The pursue of a quality life lies in small details of everyday life, with the choice of items and the effort one puts in to create the ambience. Besides, the introduction of greenery is essential, because the essence of life is the organic interaction between human and objects.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The designer builds a space of exquisiteness with high-class items, and the supportive owner allows the team to creative freely and play with different texture to demonstrate stunning details.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Design concerns the connections between the humanity inclinations and natures that gratify the clients preferences on the basis of the multiple values of design.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in December 2020 in Taipei, Taiwan.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The entrance is defined by a wooden lattice and a marble wall. The vertical line flows as a visual guidance. Different materials are mixed and matched in the public section, with grains of stones and wood complimenting each other. A multi-purpose room is separated by a glass slide door with build-in belt light that keeps the room private.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project is 105.8 square meter.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: With three hidden air conditioners in the ceiling, the ceiling is designed with irregular patterns to conceal the wires. The base wall is made of light brown marble and goes all the way through the living room, creates a united atmosphere in the public section. The sofa back wall is coated with customized Italian painting and elevates the quality of the space with the linear lights. Standing next to the dining table is the multi-purpose room.
CHALLENGE: The oversized glass is hard to tackle, but the effort pays off. The desk here is constructed with different kinds of materials such as hardware, silestone, and veneer that enriches the space. The true challenge is the closet in the master bedroom, which demonstrates a beautiful marriage between the woodwork and hardware, with a two-layer board design, hardware handles and fabrics.
