INSPIRATION: The design aims to help more groups to try vegetable snacks. A new product launched on the snack shelf needs to be novel enough to attract consumers. The product is designed with highlighted characters and strong color contrast to stand out from the same category products. With different packaging, the products look more casual and fashionable, suitable for various sales environment in entertainment places.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Fitness enthusiasts often have greater desire to eat snacks due to the large calorie difference. And most snacks have larger burden on human body. But if controlling appetite, people eat and drink too much more frequently. Such conflict appears particularly among women. Broccoli crisp is a substitute for puffed snacks, which is very healthy with a mouthfeel of puffed food.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The bag packaging implies that the broccoli crispy chip is calorie-free and barrel shaped packaging makes the product look more casual, indicating that it is a smart choice for leisure time such as movie time. Except for popcorn, broccoli crispy chip can be a good choice.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The product design will be completed in February 2021 and is expected to be put into production in June 2021.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Consumers never stop their desire to pursue a healthy low calorie lifestyle and at the same time, they pursue novel and green taste bud experience. Out of curiosity, they keeps pursuing something new. Lifestyle habits of consumers provide information for brand packaging design at different stages. Based on leisure and entertainment as the starting point, we strive to meet low calorie diet of consumers needs and provide them with more brilliant choices.
CHALLENGE: The team has made great efforts in product attractiveness. Through highlighted characters and strong color contrast, the team strives to enhance brand recognition, which can evoke consumers’ curiosity and attract more groups to try the product, thereby strengthening brand recognition. The product can be quickly identified so as to apply to different kinds of life scenarios.
