| DESIGN NAME: The Natural Fountain PRIMARY FUNCTION: Driking Dispenser for Pets INSPIRATION: According to the China Urban Life Research, 78.4% of young people live in a high-pressure life, and they yearn for a comfortable and relaxed rural lifestyle. At the same time, pets living in the city are far from the original state of life in the wild. In this context, we hope to design a pet water dispenser to embodies an original linkage between human, pets and nature. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Natural Fountain(TNF) employs a timeless and inartificial design language that represents modern people's attitude for pursuing a simple and cozy lifestyle. The soft top curved surface creates a water puddle for pets' drinking need and conveys a pure concept from minimalism. Pet's drinking process from the puddle engages people in association of natural lifestyle. TNF's geometric body carries innovative UV sterilization and water circulation filter system. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The Natural Fountain has only one single button. Touch the button to turn it on, long press for 3 seconds to turn it off. It can work automatically. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in August 2019 in Beijing and finished in March 2020 in Shenzhen China. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: It is made of ABS injection molding. Its geometric body carries innovative UV sterilization and water circulation filter system. Such design not only focuses on pets drinking health but also visually illuminates the device's unique and elegant top curved surface. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Pure white product. Dimensions: 200mm x 200mm x 180mm TAGS: natural, fountain, pet, drinking, soft, curved, cozy, timeless RESEARCH ABSTRACT: According to the China Urban Life Research, 78.4% of young people live in a high-pressure life, and they yearn for a comfortable and relaxed rural lifestyle.
