DESIGN NAME: British Charm
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Space
INSPIRATION: Different from other residential space design, the designer makes a subtle balance between the sense of warmness and industrial style within the colours and lines of each objects, and further lead to the purity and beauty of space.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project is designed in British industrial style, complementing different materials and furnishings. In such space filled with aesthetics aura, though, people are able to sense the warmness and comfort of home.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In the public area, red brick wall, which is an industrial-styled feature, accompanies dark-coloured TV bench present the sedate and attraction of the colours. The black iron shelves are installed on the wall behind sofa to provide the spark joy to the residential space.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in November 2019 in Keelung, Taiwan.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In the private area, the white bed headboard in the master room provides an irregular aesthetics and elegant vision. Embellished with the vivid blue wall and gold ceiling light, the layers of aesthetics enhance. Books, plants, and even candles can be placed on a nightstand set by the bed, which gives the bedroom a sense of warmness. Besides, sliding TV wall is installed in the bedroom, emptying the space for a big closest made of architectural-concreted panels.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project is 100 square meter.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: -
CHALLENGE: A Japanese-style room which is partitioned by the iron net wall combines Japanese style with the nature of industrial style. To satisfy the clients multiple requests, an adjustable table is installed in this room. Thus, it is not only a storage room, but a space for the host to invite friends to maintain relationship.
