RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Indented corners are a feature of traditional Thai architecture where the corners of a rectangular structure are broken up into multiple recessed corners. The most common form features three angles at each of the structure's four corners, and is referred to as twelve indented corners, or Mai12. The form is featured extensively in the religious architecture of the late Ayutthaya period, and can be found in stupas (chedi), building columns, and the tiered spires of the prasat architectural form
CHALLENGE: The difficulty of this piece is both in design and manufacture.
In terms of design we try to design an architectural work which is a geometric shape, to delicate and beautiful ornament. In the form of contemporary Thai art
In terms of the production of the bangle, we have to think of a way to turn it on and off. It retains the shape of 12 indented corners, but can actually be worn. In addition, the workpiece has many corner. Making it difficult to produce It requires a relatively high craftmanship skill.
