| DESIGN NAME: Hoopa PRIMARY FUNCTION: Product Website INSPIRATION: The starting point was the idea of a fast, feature-rich website that showcases all the features of the design, through modern technologies in visualization. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The website was designed as a product journey. It showcases the most important features of the product using modern visual technologies as animations, 360° views, customization module and detail photos. The website also showcases the design process, from the first concept sketches to the work done on prototyping. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Being a product showcase website, the client wanted a potential customer's journey, from the concept created for the balance bike to the features that make the product stand out and the customization available (features and colors). There is also a section on the website dedicated to the creation process involved: from sketches to computer graphics and prototyping. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The website was developed in Cluj-Napoca, from January to June, 2019. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: HTML, JavaScript, CSS SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Product presentation website, fully responsive, Image Hotspots, Dynamic Scrolling, Parallax. TAGS: Product design, Website, Responsive, Interactive, 360° View, Parallax, Image Hotspot. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: HOOPA Balance Bike dives into child mobility and psychology. One of the first notions you learn as a toddler is how to gain your balance while moving. The balance bike is designed to help the children between 2 and 5 years old to learn their first steps in keeping the balance, while giving them an awesome riding experience. No pedals needed. CHALLENGE: The main challenge of the project was to seamlessly integrate different technologies needed to showcase the bike's features: a 360° viewer, a customization module to personalize your bike step-by-step (type, color combination, accessories), while keeping the website light, fast and responsive.
