| DESIGN NAME: Vestel Evin Akli PRIMARY FUNCTION: Smart Home Mobile Application INSPIRATION: Thanks to Evin Akli's meticulously created, flexible software and design architecture, the application easily adapts to new devices and features that will be added. Users can also track their electricity consumption levels. The user’s existing device is kept available to development with the new features and programs that will be added to the application. At the same time, all features are made available to the usage of visually impaired users with voiceover and talkback compatibility. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Evin Akli which is a mobile application and TV. application developed for users to control and monitor their connected home appliances remotely anytime. Thanks to the similarly designed interface and experience design, learning to use and control the newly added devices takes short time for users. Architecture of Evin Akli mobile app supports to add new devices, functions and features with its flexible structure open to development. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Evin Akli application has an easily understandable and usable UX / UI design and information architecture. Thanks to the application, remote commands can be given to the devices and the status of the devices can be learned. It provides convenience to the customer with its specialized functions such as Remote Control, Assistant, User Scenarios, and Easybill. Consistent UI and information architecture results in unified UX and enables users to control devices intuitively. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: App is available on the market for both iOS and Android users. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The application is designed for all Android, iOS smart phone sizes and 16: 9 and wider Smart TVs. TAGS: smart home, home appliances, technology, smart devices, mobile application, smart tv app, remote control, remote monitoring RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Vestel UX Group do user researches and A/B testing according to appropriate user group for defining exact user needs and related project guidelines. UX Group, after creating user journey maps, combines them with suitable interfaces for create better user experiences for Vestel smart device’s users. While designing these interfaces, user research insights, emotional impacts, usage scenarios, various design architecture systems and actual design trends are considered. CHALLENGE: Evin Akli mobile application's interface is designed with the aim of easy understandable usage while considering Vestel smart devices' design style and today's aesthetic values. Control and configuration screens which are separately designed for each device group, provide user experience with simple and coherent visual architecture.
