| DESIGN NAME: Yango Wenlan Residence PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Center INSPIRATION: Combining the spatial structure in the scene arrangement, the greenery is looming, and the branches protrude from the windows. The project creates a Zen style of tranquil mood. Also, the project brings bronze and lacquerware color elements while combine human history and natural mountains and rivers. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project introduces the outdoor green landscape into the indoor space, with the concept of mountain and waterway, forming an artistic conception of mountains in the house and scenery in the mountains, so as to break the indoor and outdoor boundary. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The sales office is designed for helping customers to know better and deeper about the newly constructed buildings and houses. They will see the overall construction plan of the buildings here and can get in touch with sales managers if they have any questions and can make the purchase of houses here. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project is located in Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, China. It takes about two months to finish the construction. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The project used several materials, such as leather, bronze metal and marble. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project covers an area of 725 square meter. TAGS: Zen, modern, lacquerware, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The project makes research of the traditional culture in Xiangyang City, the design trend of the oriental culture as well as business development after culture involved in the consumption economy nowadays. CHALLENGE: It is important for designers to have an overall understanding of the local culture before initiating the design. Designers spent a large amount of time to study the culture and characteristics in Xiangyang City and chose the art installation which is consistent with local culture.
