| DESIGN NAME: Jiangmen Gemdale Mingyue PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Center INSPIRATION: The project is located in Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, where is the hometown of overseas Chinese. Also, designers integrate the exotic customs of Jiangmen Diaolou with the local culture as well as the Western architectural aesthetics and traditional Chinese culture. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Designers use the elements of lines and crystal in the interior design to create a harmonious and complementary spatial vision. There is no obvious boundary between the functional areas and various areas are scattered in space in order. As the main theme of the space, the design element, “Bird Paradise” integrates the natural elements with local culture and create a space which fits in with modern aesthetics. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The sales office is designed for helping customers to know better and deeper about the newly constructed buildings and houses. They will see the overall construction plan of the buildings here and can get in touch with sales managers if they have any questions and can make the purchase of houses here. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project is located in Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, China. It takes about three months to finish the construction. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This project uses special materials such as white and crema Pinta stone, castle grey stone and bronze stainless steel. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project covers an area of 600 square meter. TAGS: Modern, classical, oriental, art, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The project makes research of how to express the integration among art, nature and urban humanity in the perspective of design and finally presents the new lifestyle of contemporary China. CHALLENGE: It is important for designers to have an overall understanding of the local culture before initiating the design. Designers spent a large amount of time to study the culture and characteristics inJiangmen City.
