PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Jewellery Collection

INSPIRATION:
The collection was inspired by my ink drawings of Arabian horses from 1989. Later were used for a calendar created for the International Arabian horse show in Prague. The numerological calendar was made by Arabic figures of the month, in the shape of a horseshoe, there was born the idea of this jewellery collection. Numbers encompass knowledge that is passed through generations - it is our inheritance. We all inherited numbers which accompany us throughout life.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The jewellery collection symbolize the meanings behind numbers and their energy. Each jewellery is individually created from a group of numbers that represent a numerological symbol. The composition of the jewellery is based on your lucky number, birthdate, pin, anagrams, etc. Important message of this jewellery was to articulate the historical meaning of numbers to the artistic world with symbol definition and timeless composition.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
This jewellery's interaction flows from the wisdom of numbers and their energy, portraying them in a new futuristic modern way. They can play an essential role in knowledge by showing how the new connection works with the past and reflecting synchronicity with the customer. There are two lines in this collection. One is "Iconic line", which is already prepared number composition with symbols such as Zeus, Venus, Marduk, etc. "Simple line" is from individual numbers 1 through 9. The layout of the numbers in this jewellery collection more simple.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in 2012 in Prague and finished in 2019 in Prague and was exhibited in a Jewellery show Inhorgenta in Munich in 2020.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The technical development took over four years. Working with Arabic numerals and preceded to shape them to the arch of a horse shoe. Focusing to distinguish between a woman and man bracelets was a challenging procedure. The man's bracelet was formed to the symbol of Infinity, and for the women's to the Spiral. Closure for bracelets was distinguished as well. For the casting procedure latex forms were made for each number. We used material AG 925 for this jewellery.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
There were two types of research, ideological, that came from the history of numbers and their meanings. Every number has a specific power expressed by it's symbol to denote it's representation and its connection to universal principles. The technological research was in materials. The chosen materials are silver and Silnova, a more resistant metal than silver and more precious due to the palladium component. Due to the jewellery being robust, silver can be too "soft", so Silnova material can be more effective in certain pieces.

CHALLENGE:
To express different ideas in an unknown field was a big Challenge. My drawings of horses were used for a calendar that inspired me for a numerological jewellery. The shape of large pendants was built with numerals into certain symbols and curved convex for an optimal result of wearability. The grip for the stones was made with numerals and was solved through a 3D program. Another challenge was to shape the bracelet differently for a man "Infinity" and for a woman "Spiral" to string each number into a specific shape in a certain angle.
