| DESIGN NAME: Fengqi Chaoming PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Office INSPIRATION: The tea culture in Sichuan has a long history over two thousand years, it has been a part of the local life. A cabinet behind the negotiation area displays many tea sets from famous artists, telling the living philosophy of ancients. Every square meter of the space turns alive in the design, owners sit peacefully in the ancient town, spring is coming. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: It's a paradise far away from the crowds with forest. Isolated from the noises and crowds, it's purely a room for leisure and peace, a best place for reception of guests and friends with a pot of tea. Behind the tea table, there is the bronze pine tree spread in the modern world as a time traveler. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: One branch and one leaf extend to the modern world by pixel technique. It's like traditional aesthetics going through the years, meeting and settling with reality again. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February 2019 in Chengdu and finished in November 2019 in Chengdu. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In terms of material selection, designers find a balance between traditional materials and modern industry, using simple materials to achieve a good spatial effect, giving people a spiritual breathing. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project covers a total of 250 square meters. TAGS: Interior, Commercial, Sales Center, Modern, Artistic, New Oriental RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The tea culture in Shu has a long history, spanning more than 2000 years. Now it is indispensable for the local lifestyle. Thinking about how the tea culture can be displayed in front of the world, we can only associate it with the utensils of tea. In the history of the city, traditional vocabulary and modern design techniques are used to highlight the beauty of landscape. CHALLENGE: The difficulty in detail makes the design a brand new medium, which builds a wonderful dialogue between the application of old wood devices and new materials in space in the context of contemporary life.
