| DESIGN NAME: Jinan Key Areas PRIMARY FUNCTION: Urban Color Design INSPIRATION: The designer extracted the color gene of traditional architecture in Jinan, reproduced the color symbols in human history, and established the urban color keynote of "warm autumn color formed by variation of ancient charm color, new bright color deduced by water color brilliance" for the key area of Jinan, and constructed the exclusive architectural color system, so as to created a color environment with Jinan's local significance, and achieved the goal of telling the story of Jinan with color languag. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In the project, the designer formulated hierarchical and classified urban color planning strategies for key areas in Jinan City, applied the recommended chromatogram to the overall color environment of key areas according to the urban spatial structure and functional attributes, constructed and designed the urban color image of the key section, and formulated the urban color planning guidelines and plans. On the core axis of the key area, designer designed the architectural color image of the core section. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In this project, designer was committed to sorting out the current color problems and causes, putting forward the corresponding goals and countermeasures, exploring the special color characteristics of key areas, extracting the color genes of traditional culture and natural environment of Jinan, establishing the exclusive architectural color system of the area, and innovatively applying it to the urban space of key areas, so as to create an economic environment In order to create a symbolic color environment, to describes the charm of key urban areas of Jinan and tells the story of Jinan in the language of color. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was completed in Guangzhou and Jinan in December 2016. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The designer planed the spatial structure of urban color and guide the spatial distribution and change of hue, lightness and chroma of urban color, constructed and designed the urban color image of the key section, and formulated the urban color planning guidelines and plans; On the core axis of the key area, the designer designed the architectural color image of the core section. Designer also have formulated guidelines for building materials matching the recommended colors in combination with the recommended colors of cities, so as to make the implementation of the recommended colors more effective. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The area of city color planning and design in key areas of Jinan is 32.9 square kilometers, of which the core area is 8.66 square kilometers. The key area is designed to be 8.3 square kilometers. TAGS: Urban color, Architectural color, Color planning, Color design, Color guide, Color image RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In order to create a symbolic color image for the key area of Jinan City, the designer need to comb the color context, summarize the color environment characteristics, find the color system belonging to the area, coordinate rational analysis and perceptual experience by means of planning and design, draw the ideal color picture for the city through orderly color organization and systematic color planning, and communicate rationality and sensibility The way of weaving deduces the melody of city color, and formulating specific implementation strategies to achieve this color goal, so as to guide the optimization of city color environment. CHALLENGE: The recognition of city color, the study of current situation, the presentation of problems and the extraction of characteristics are the core of city color planning and design, and the basic basis for customizing the exclusive color image. In the project, on the basis of analyzing the cultural color genes and natural color characteristics of the area, the designer extract the urban color recommendation chromatography exclusive to the area, and study and formulate the urban color strategy planning guidelines, through the expressive force of color, strengthen the morphological characteristics of the building, shape the logo image of the area.
