| DESIGN NAME: Face to face PRIMARY FUNCTION: Home prenatal education device INSPIRATION: As a major public health emergency, the new crown pneumonia epidemic has made smart medical treatment a consumer trend. Pregnant women with limited mobility when going out have a long queue for pregnancy checkups, and there is a need to get checkups at home. The appearance of the product is based on the old fashioned pager, which is divided into two parts, namely the child and the mother, which means that the mother sends a message to the fetus. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The face to face realizes the physical examination of pregnant women at home, which is convenient for observing the status of the fetus and for early education. As an innovative product, by combining the functions of pregnancy check and early education, pregnant women and their families can feel the growth of the fetus more intuitively, bringing more experience to users. Under the general trend of smart medical care, it provides users with a new interactive experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Put the product on the abdomen, remove the upper part and put it on the ear to listen to the fetal heart or put it on the mouth to talk to the fetus, use the voice to stimulate the fetus for prenatal education. The bottom of the product will transmit ultrasound to the pregnant woman s abdomen for color Doppler ultrasound, projecting the fetal image from the front to the wall, so that pregnant women can observe the fetus while doing early education. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Shenyang, Liaoning Province in September 2020 and ended in Shenyang, Liaoning Province in December 2020. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main material is PP plastic, which is a two colors mold made by a two color injection molding machine. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: As an innovative product, face to face combines the functions of pregnancy check and early education to make pregnant women and their families feel the growth of the fetus more intuitively, bringing more care to users. The use of the vertical separation type is more intuitive to understand, the use of PP plastic material is safer and more innovative. CHALLENGE: How to better integrate the color Doppler ultrasound function with the projection function, how to better apply the function to the form.
