| DESIGN NAME: Dandelion Seed PRIMARY FUNCTION: Speaker Light INSPIRATION: The design of this product is based on respect for plants as living beings that human beings ignore. It's been tried to create meaning to this design, that people reflect it in their lives. This product includes the three levels of a dandelion's life: seed, growing, and death. This product has been used the reversing method, not in its form but its philosophy. The music will be playing on this speaker is a symbol of the silent sound of the plant. The lifting ball as a moving object can represent this design as a living creature. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The quality sound of a 360-degree speaker beside a soft light, creating a sense of levitating by the magnetic field technology, makes this design unique. A combination of the user's feelings and technology turned this design indelible. In addition to an exceptional function, this product helps people reveal the tensions and stress. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: You can connect your device to this speaker Via Bluetooth technology. To charge the light's battery is needed connecting the ball to the port on the base. One of the main traits is protecting the interior ball with external cover in unexpected situations as a power outage. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: A hollow glass ball is made by glass-blowing with five holes for batteries and LED lights, and a bottom hole is a place for a magnet to create a magnetic field. There is a small black sponge ball that has is a six-way piece inside of it for tightening the pipes. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 150 mm x 150 mm x 280 mm, Light Speaker, Magnetic field technology. TAGS: Light, speaker, Nature, Dandelion, seed, levitating speaker. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Some researchers have been done on the magnetic field technology, glass-blowing. Due to the increasing stress in human lives, this design can help people to wind down their minds. CHALLENGE: One of the main challenges of this design was emphasized that the glass ball being one piece, to the consultations with a glassblower was decided to make the glass ball with the blowing method. To enter the small black ball into the glass ball, the glassblower recommended using a flexible material like a sponge so the central black ball is made with a sponge that can be pressed and entered into the glass ball.
