RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This design was created on Seven Mile Beach in the Cayman Islands. The designer's view each morning created the visuals that underpinned the design. The piece was created with a direct view of the ocean to inspire the design. The designer has spent many years observing this part of the Cayman Islands.
CHALLENGE: The hardest part was the time and effort to sculpt the design with the metal wire. This took an extensive period of time to sculpt, frame, and secure before the fabric base could be applied.
