| DESIGN NAME: Modern Hunting Lodge PRIMARY FUNCTION: Resort INSPIRATION: Using the baumraum urban treehouse in berlin as the main concept, which means the construction isnt on the ground and people can go near to the tree canopy. As a representative of modern life, the hunting lodge is full of enthusiasm and wildness, which has set up a new definition of vacation. The construction is a place where people can jump out of the convention and truly feel the inner side of themselves so as to galvanize their deep soul. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: There are three divisions in this case. First, the treehouse area which faces the river and is quiet without disturbance. Second, the united residence area where people can mingle and share their interests with each other. Third, the assembly hall for dinging, which also can be a conference hall. As to the connection to each area, the roads are like the venation of leaves, when entering different branches of the path, people will find glamorous scenery with the elements of water and wood at the end of allies. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In order to manifest the aspect of the forest, the designer has established the path with obsidian and carbonized cork appearance. Nevertheless, with the difference of thickness, width, length, and technique of three-dimensional collage with an oblique angle of 30 degrees, the characteristic of the gloomy forest is well shown. In addition, the designer has chosen Northern Europe style furniture to match with the outdoor bathtub so as to shape a comfortable ambiance, which has diminished the border between people and also added a feeling of passion, warmth, and joy. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The designer has managed a treehouse as a unit, and further divided the unit into two living spaces. First, the Garden Room on the first floor, connecting to the brook, which contains a living room and an area for outdoor bathing. The main structure of the garden room is reinforced concrete and supplemented with air-faced concrete. As to the second and third floor, the treehouse is supported by six cylinders which have made the 12square meters tree box rise high from the second to the third floor. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The designer has established a wild hunting field with his special techniques such as the utilization of light and shades of the mountain peak, the murmur of the river, and gloomy forest. Moreover, the flow pattern that the designer has especially managed leads the guests to explore the treasure scenery as well as the shimmering lights that have built interaction between the guests. Nevertheless, the walls are presented with raw cement bare walls and wood, which has removed the craftsmanship so as to keep it natural. TAGS: Hunting, Independence, Nature, Tree house, Unruliness RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Hunting is an entertainment for the nobles. With the wild and natural region, people start to chase their inner soul, furiousness which galvanizes the balance of aesthetics that only the best hunter or a man of foresight can enjoy. As for the treehouse, we can feel its uncultivated character with desire and passion, which is a palace and resort for the true king. CHALLENGE: The concept is to lead the indoor life outside the building so that it is a challenge to reduce the interference that the sunburn, rain, insects, privacy, and boundaries might produce. Therefore, Large amounts of canopies are established in the area, and also shade trees, sclerophyllous forests are applied for distinguishing the division. Moreover, the outdoor entertainment area at the treehouse area is constructed on the second floor which is meant to decrease the insects obstruction.
