RESEARCH ABSTRACT: After extensive research on Van Gogh's paintings (there are almost 2000 works), the painting was chosen that would be the inspiration for the design. Then research was carried out on the painted tree (understanding of what the painter saw to be inspired). Realized the ideal design of the piece and choice of the ideal materials for execution.
CHALLENGE: Persistent search for different shades of citrine for the different shades of yellow of Van Gogh sunflowers. Gemstones "welded" over gemstones to show the layers of flowers, forming a 3D jewelry. Matte finish with lines to represent the leaves and polished finish to represent the branches.
