| DESIGN NAME: Zhengzhou Vanke Yunlu PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Center INSPIRATION: Based on nature resources, geography and humanity, the designer start the design. The landscape is extended to the building, offering the fusion chance for the inside and outside space, so as to form a mortise and tenon joint relationship for building in the space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: On the basis of design concept 'Draw from the local to create our own modern style', Mind Design, drawing from the extensive and profound nature, geography and humanity, has integrated Chinese traditional and classic elements in the project. Furthermore, the interior space decoration is simplified to present 'Profound and implicit Chinese style', and achieve the extraordinary state, wildness and warmth, simplism and accessibility, with natural scenery embellished into the space quietly. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The delicate screen in the middle of the space serves as partitions, reaching a rich layers effect. The combination of vertical and horizontal lines, the wooden structure and weaving elements, the geometric splicing of marble and log reception desk, can balance the internal virtual and real relations, establish the basic relationship of space construction, form the internal tension and generate art effects. Also, the designers adopted the carved beams and painted rafter of Chinese-style traditional buildings, together with the mortise and tenon joint structure deduced by contemporary techniques, so that a majestic wooden structure has taken shape, which makes the whole space more spacious and well-spaced. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 927.35 square meter TAGS: Log colour RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In order to present “Profound and implicit Chinese style” and stick to the design concept“Draw from the local to create our own modern style”, the carved beams and painted rafter of Chinese-style traditional buildings, together with the mortise and tenon joint structure deduced by contemporary techniques are adopted.
