| DESIGN NAME: Color Change PRIMARY FUNCTION: Clothing INSPIRATION: The original intention of this design is to use temperature-varying materials to visualize things that cannot be observed with the eyes. The design uses structural thread to highlight the clothing structure, which is a three-dimensional plane fabric. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The chemical interaction between people: hugs, breathes, kisses, and the temperature of the human body changes with the acceleration of the heartbeat. These changes in temperature and energy are in a state that cannot be seen with the eyes. unpredictable. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: There are two materials used in this garment.One is a fabric that can change with temperature.For example,human body temperature and other temperatures will directly change the color of the fabric.The other is the adhesive tape,which is just different from the previous materialand it will not change with temperature changes.It just happens that the two materials have a sharp contrast. NAME: Nan qu PROFILE: Qu Nan entered Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts as a graduate student in 2019. The main work experience includes: "Global Life" magazine, responsible for all the dress pages of the magazine, participating in artist interviews, filming and other work. Worked as a display designer at Giorgio Armani. Currently studying in the second year of the Industrial Design College of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. His main research direction is clothing design and dyeing and weaving. He is good at using materials to express contemporary art and the relationship between clothing and body. Disappearance and appearance is a key word that he thought of after finishing this series. Before starting this series, he first had the urge to make a "disappearing portrait", and then after his rationality settled, he searched for some keywords and clues about the "disappearing portrait". This keyword became what he wanted to be in the whole process. The main effect achieved in. Creation will disappear and appear. The next step is to find material that can express this keyword. He chose thermochromic materials, which can express the thematic effects of disappearance and appearance. |
