PRIMARY FUNCTION: Table Stand
INSPIRATION: The main inspiration was Ilana Seleznev's new thinking system methodology which she developed, "The Math Of Design - Thinking Inside The Box", which leads to creative and innovative solutions.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: "Rack of Glass" design is unique because it was designed by "The Math Of Design – Thinking Inside The Box" method.
This colorful rope is turned into a stable and unique stand to keep glasses safe.
It is a stand for glasses that make your glasses become a part of your home or office decoration instead of increasing the mess and also make it easy to look for them. The product can be made from a rope or 3D printing.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The rack for glass was designed mostly for functional office and for a decorative product with a minimal and mathematical appearance. The owner can decide to place the product in a suited location like a beautiful abstract or hang glasses (interactions) on a daily basis.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in January 2018 in Israel and finished in January 2019.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The product was designed following the self-made methodology called "The Math Of Design and Thinking Inside The Box". The product can be made of ropes or 3D printing in a variety of colors.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The RACK FOR GLASSES was designed by the "Math Of Design" method which is a self-developed method. Alter the shape was developed with the tool method "Thinking inside the box" the research focused on finding the correct materials for it.
CHALLENGE: The main challenge was how to find the right type of material that will be affordable for the private customer in local production (In Israel material is very expensive).
