RESEARCH ABSTRACT: When creating the Busa decor, we use many types of research. Analyzing various approaches to understanding the philosophy of the type and essence of the product, the characteristics of the materials used in the creation, the connection of the product’s shaping with the history and stylistic orientation of the product and its integration into the modern environment, and the impact of the product on everyday life and bringing convenience and aesthetics to the atmosphere around this item.
The main goal of the study was to identify the connections and contacts between history and modernity on the example of Slavic culture. Identify certain options and rules for influencing form and form on function, and combine historical language with the language of modernity.
We identified the groups of decor, forms, philosophy in our direction, relying on literature, research, archaeological finds and revealed details that we decided to transform and supplement.
Having identified and understood the philosophy of the product, its shape and size, we began to explore the material from which this volume should be created.
The main important feature of the brand is the use of only natural materials in production. Our task was to create an environmentally friendly, voluminous, strong, non-combustible and fairly lightweight object that meets all design requirements (color, gloss and tactile properties).
We decided to create this object from natural ceramics of manual production using the casting technique.
The second very important task (after the Historical) was to create a modular product that can adapt to the needs and aesthetic trends of the client. In our opinion, this is an extremely important detail for the business, to be flexible within the product itself, to allow the product to be for the client, and not above the client. To be needed and to help him make his life more comfortable, so we decided to create many modules on the Busa decor so that everyone could fill the chain of modules in the decor as he needed.
For example, use only modules in the decor with the ability to arrange plants and create an entire arrangement on the wall. Or use the module to arrange the book and create your own personal library. Everything was created so that people interacted with design, wanted to create together with design and were part of this aesthetics and energy.
CHALLENGE: For us, the most difficult part of creating a Busa decor was to provide all the necessary requirements, such as strength, lightness, environmental friendliness.
When creating the modules, a lot of options and test samples were made in order to optimize the thickness and weight of each module. We worked out the optimal wall thickness of each ball, which is 4 mm, which allowed us to use the whole idea in its multiple functionality.
The idea of not only the BUSA decor, but of the entire GORKOVENKO brand is to rethink historical images and integrate them into the modern environment, giving them their own personal aesthetics and our style with a touch of humor and irony. We see this as a great historical perspective with good intention and respect for history and giving it a new "sound"
Our team consists of a large number of artisans and professionals, artists, sculptors, casters. Hand crafting production allows you to relate to each item with heat and transfer handmade energy from the mater to the item. Thanks to the integration and unification of a large number of professionals in their field, we will simultaneously create a training platform for young professionals, thereby developing and expanding ourselves, people who love their job and production volumes.
