| DESIGN NAME: Royal Apartment PRIMARY FUNCTION: Comfort For Life INSPIRATION: The inspiration for creating this design was contemporary art. We combined comfort, simplicity and luxury in a small space. This is an apartment in which any modern person wants to live. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Location: Ukraine, Kiev Year of implementation: 2019 Total area apartment: 64 square meters The SKS studio team completed the design project and turnkey repair of an apartment of 64 square meters. As a result, the apartment has a kitchen studio of 33 square meters, a bedroom, two large closets, a dressing room at the entrance, a bathroom. The repair is made in the style of modern classics with elements of gold. The walls of the apartment were decorated with paintings by Ukrainian artists. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The interior of the apartment used both handmade elements (tables: coffee and dining) and furniture of Italian factories. On the walls are Venetian stucco, as well as marble specially matched to the color of the kitchen facades and floor tiles. A special cosiness is given to the bedroom by specially made to individual sketches fabric panels to the ceiling, and the bathroom is equipped with Italian plumbing, which was successfully selected by the designers of SKSDESIGN studio for mosaics. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: - TAGS: - RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: The most difficult task in the implementation of the project was to correctly re-plan the space so as to maximize the use of the useful area of the apartment: to implement an independent dressing room and as much space as possible for storing things (which happened thanks to two large closets). The narrow corridor was expanded, and the bedroom and the living room were interchanged so that daylight filled the whole space and the living room did not seem elongated.
