INSPIRATION: As a consequence of the mega trends of digitalisation and New Work,
co-working spaces with strong networks have become a model for
the agile working world of the future. While loft-style interiors encourage teamwork and the exchange of ideas, there should also be
quiet rooms close by that allow concentration and efficient work.
But modern work environments often have a problem with noise.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Sound Balance range brings peace to the workplace while adding an aesthetic touch. This acoustic system solution comprises 34 wall and room elements with highly effective sound absorption and a superb design that is bound to impress. It is an intelligently designed solution to the problem of noise in open-plan offices.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Here at Sigel, we completely understand the needs of office workers and develop solutions on that basis. With Sound Balance, we offer an intelligently designed system that is most effective when used interactively.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: 2 year in Mertingen, Germany

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The special Sigel acoustic material has a high sound-absorption
rating compared to typical absorption foams and fibres. An individual
combination of polyester fleece panels of varying densities
has been developed for each absorber in the Sound Balance
range. This guarantees an optimum level of sound absorption.
And this is how Sound Balance meets the highest standards of
acoustic performance.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: GS-certified product safety carried out by TÜV Süd Product Service GmbH. All Sound Balance products are certified in
accordance with Fire Safety Class B2.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The expertise of the acoustic specialists at Müller-BBM is an
integral part of the Sound Balance product range. All of the

in the laboratories at Müller-BBM in order to ensure optimum
