| DESIGN NAME: Yancheng Nanyang PRIMARY FUNCTION: Airport Hotel INSPIRATION: This project is located in the terminal of Yancheng airport, carrying passengers' first impression or leaving memory of Yancheng. The owner requires local characteristics and interest. When the first time from the plane overlooking this city, staggered orderly fields, winding river, this kind of natural interest, there is a strong sense of substitute; It must be interesting to think of this element as a kind of story line that runs through every space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: With the repetition of the form and reorganization, the strong and stable color, form a strong contrast, let the whole space is full of a kind of pleasure and surprise, in the selection of materials, adhere to the green environmental protection sustainable development of materials. Advocate green energy saving, pay attention to function and psychological emotion design original intention. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Yancheng fields, mountains, rivers, with decorative materials and soft decoration expression. In terms of architecture, the preliminary design of the architectural institute led to the unsatisfactory elevation of some individual areas. After BIM calculation and discussion, the decoration effect was maximized. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in May 2019 in Jiangsu and will finish in March 2020 in Jiangsu. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main materials in this project are wood veneer, stone, glass, wallpaper, paint and aluminum plate. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project covers a total of 8500 square meters. TAGS: Interior, Hotel, Modern, Simple, Chinese-style, Memory of Yancheng, Environmental Protection, Natural RESEARCH ABSTRACT: From the curved wall of the lobby to the geometric ceiling of the dining room and finally to the screen of the guest room, the story about the city of Yancheng is told all the time. Hope here is a surprise departure, but also a wonderful start. CHALLENGE: Due to the limited budget of the owner, the selection of materials should be combined with environmental protection requirements and cost performance to ensure the design effect. After several rounds of discussions with the owner, the price was finally controlled on the premise of guaranteeing the effect.
