| DESIGN NAME: Fintech Office PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office Space INSPIRATION: A spiral staircase has been designed using parametric software rather than being drawn by hand, therefore, the generated pattern of the staircase surface looks unique and it highlights the new aesthetic of the digital era; The installation, produced using cast concrete, is a "waterfall" UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: FinTech (financial tech) is an industry that uses technology to make financial services more efficient. Parametric design software, a reflection of new tech, have been employed in a spiral staircase. In addition, a relaxed working atmosphere has been created using simple materials, and various functions and activities encourage employees to remain in the Fintech Co-working. A "micro-urban life group" has been formed, and extends the physical and psychological office space available to employees to allow them to actively embrace urban life. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The nature of the open office does not only belong to the inside space of the Fintech Co-working, it also extends to a 6000spm "micro-urban life group" of financial tech companies on the site. This includes the Dragon Restaurant and the atrium which is open to the public and is also considered as a living room of the city. The atrium also extends the physical and psychological office space available to employees to allow them to actively embrace urban life. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: parametric design technologies, cast concrete SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 980 Sqm TAGS: parametric, cast concret, FinTech RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This is an office especially designed for a co-working brand which belonged to FinTech. FinTech (financial tech) is an industry that uses technology to make financial services more efficient. The new aesthetic of the digital era and people loved “water features” have been achieved. Thus a unique environment for FinTech employees has been created. Parametric design technologies, cast concrete and GRG have been employed. CHALLENGE: FinTech's goal is to eliminate those financial companies who lack new technology. Firstly, how can the beauty of new technology design be shown to distinguish the space from traditional companies' work space? Secondly, employees in this industry, generally, work extremely long hours. How can employees be made to feel at ease and comfortable? Thirdly, the net height of the -1 floor is not enough.
