| DESIGN NAME: News PRIMARY FUNCTION: Podcast INSPIRATION: The goal is to present news in an easy format to listen in cars or when you commute to your workplace. The user can easily follow newscaster or specific theme which inspire them. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: News Podcast is an app designed to present everyday the fresh news in audio or video format, some can be live. Users can save favorite podcasts. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: We analyzed the needs of market and we defined personas. From those personas we designed specific wireframes. From those wireframes we've add functionalities to correspond more to the marketing and redaction team needs. From those we've designed final prototypes which where then confronted to final users to be validated thru a series of corrections and re-validations. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: News Podcast was started in June 2019 in Brussels and finished in February 2020. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Primarily designed in Sketch and animated with Protopie, Video : Rotato. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The "News podcast" project was made in sketch, wireframes and then produced on sketch app in iPhone 375 x 667, our users' standard formats. A design of the iOS apple library, developed in Swift Programming Language. TAGS: Mobile, iPhone, podcast, news, sketch, iOS, protopie RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Our research and study, comes from the results of our "personas" of our data of our subscribed and non-subscribed readers. We have in place a "hotjar" tracking system on our sites, survey of user tests in summer carried out with "lookback" and "Trint". After that we worked on several designs with "sketch" and worked on a design system for our future project of the same magnitude. Obviously, the research and improvement continues even if the product is on the market. Improvements are still to come.
