Interview with Marco Guariglia at Friday 29th of May 2020 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? MG: The design was based on the designers living experience in Asia city. It was a need in there of all kinds of furniture that could help people to save space. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? MG: I hope taking the laundry could be something easier, saving more time to do. At the same time, change the shape of hangers to nice decoration. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? MG: It will be produce and sell on Zec Zec Taiwan first, and planing to go on Kickstart at the end of 2020. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? MG: The design concept was born in the summer of 2018. And it did stared in Mar 2019, it took three month for the designer to make it real. FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean? MG: The name is the combination of two Italian terms, “Sfoglia” and “Foglia” Sfoglia means page flipping. And Foglia represents leaf.
