Interview with Francesco Cappuccio at Sunday 21st of April 2019 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? FC: The smart film technology applied in a luminaire is the core idea of this design FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? FC: A fresh look yet functional Table/desk lamp design FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? FC: plan to sell or lease the production rights FS: Who is the target customer for his design? FC: millennial generation FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design? FC: Constantly looking for cross technology design applications, I found out that smart film technology, other then privacy control applications, has a great potential to be applied in light control.
