Interview with Kyung-Hee Choi at Friday 24th of May 2019 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? KC: The matter of how to accoplish a dynamic textile design for fashion garments, using a digital technology. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? KC: To realize a transformable color change, using a 3D lenticular printing and 3D modular origami design FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? KC: To try experimenting a customized dynamic fashion design. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? KC: About 6months FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? KC: I tried to consider the direction of digitalized future fashion design. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? KC: I'd like to try both of them if available.
