FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
MV: The design is inspired by natural and aesthetic forms.
FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
MV: When designing a hanger "Sense" we staked on the functionalities. Designed to be comfortable for everyone, both end-users and merchants.
FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
MV: The plan is very soon a hanger "Sense" to be on the market and available to for purchase by the clients.
FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
MV: From the idea to the development of the prototype it took us about 2 months.
FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
MV: We decided to follow our inspiration and make a product that we like.
FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
MV: Yes, it is already produced by us.
FS: What made you design this particular type of work?
MV: The idea of designing a multifunctional hanger revolved around the fact that one piece of furniture does not have to be large to have many functionalities in itself.
FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
MV: There are no other. The design idea is entirely for our team of designers.
FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
MV: Our target customer is a person with good taste in shaping and evaluating good design.
FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
MV: In addition to its unique design, the hanger "Sense" differs with its versatility and well balanced mix of materials.
FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
MV: Sense comes from a sensitive environment and surrounding atmosphere.
FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
MV: We used almost any tools in designing ... from paper and scissors to precise laser and router machines.
FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
MV: The most unique aspect of the hanger is the beautiful design, the good combination of materials and its versatility.
FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
MV: We developed the design completely by ourselves - the team of "Love 2 Design"studio.
FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
MV: Technology is the key behind the perfect design.
FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
MV: We have done a thorough study of what is already on the market and what people would like.
FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
MV: One of the great challenges was to produce the wooden details and to devise a technological way for their serial production.
FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
MV: Since the hanger "Sense" won the first place in the national competition for "Bulgarian Furniture of the Year" we decided to try a more global competition.
FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
MV: During the design process, we encountered various questions and interesting case studies that taught us methods to refine our designs.
FS: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions?
MV: Without the co-operation of our entire team, the hanger design would not be a reality.
