Interview with Nizar Samoglu at Monday 20th of May 2019

FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
NS: Working from as clear a strategic goal as I can develop with my clients, I engage in a combination of balck and white contrast, through which i develop a view of the persons who might be enter the shop, looking for perfume and feel with a comfort while shopping, this design is done to the generative process through a combination of wood, black metal, and accessories, often generated in a harmonious environment. Finally, i critique the immetation and iterate and try to a greater level of fidelity.

FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
NS: The Contrast. when you use a photo in your profile, you will use a high contrast image to illustrate your character against people. Having a positive impact on those interests in perfume. take them in a trip around, and sit on the bar, choosing their product while drinking somthing they like. leave the shop whith happieness and stay tuned visit it agian, that's the achievment i wanted to get.

FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
NS: Work with honesty and point out the aims which i achieve make industry more successfully.

FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
NS: The design as a craft, 2D then 3D, took about 2 months including researching. the workshop until getting the final result, it took 45 days.

FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
NS: Believing in a concept, knowing you are right, struggling until reach your goal, it deserves. in fact, the inspiration is very important element in the work, but you have to do it fits needs of the product.

FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
NS: The design was real and we did many shops in many European and middle east countries. as we are brand and decoration agency, we did this work to the company itself.

FS: What made you design this particular type of work?
NS: I hate the repetition, and seek to move the brand to new place of others. i like the quiet and try make the client get the same feeling when touch my works.

FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
NS: Be honest. Usually I develop my work myself. Try to develop my personal design ethics, keep it and follow it.

FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
NS: The perfume seeker and everybody likes fragrances.

FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
NS: Most brand tends to use similar colors and materials. i did this design to be different from others and keeping the usage in global.

FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
NS: Actually, the name chosen from the client himself. aqua , royal water, so called for its power to dissolve gold and other noble metals.

FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
NS: Adobe Illustrator, 3DS Max, Vray Renderer.

FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
NS: Aspect of contrast.

FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
NS: Not at all, i did many meetings with company's members, make discussions with the manager. they have a great experience in their filed, that's make the work easier.

FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
NS: 3D Visualization.

FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
NS: As i said earlier, the discussion with company's members gave me the usage of the work, so the concept liked by them a lot.

FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
NS: taking in my consideration a focal point, visual flow, balance, contrast, and perfect space, Throw conceptual thinking, serving marketing society, was the challenges of me.

FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
NS: For a long time I am seeking to enter in a competition with creative designer. i have the experience, practical, and perfect knowledge in the tools.

FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
NS: Patient, this is the key of success.

FS: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions?
NS: Yes, Everything seems heading towards service-based or finding a way to be of greater service. Anything can become a service in today’s marketplace, often accessed through self-service technological systems. Even branding professionals must reconsider the wisdom of traditional business strategies that make physical products in a traditional environment.
