Interview with Paulo de Senna-Fernandes at Monday 18th of April 2016 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? PG: I want to promote my Haute Couture for people who love this kind of elegant clothes, my idea from environment that why I am focus in wonderful World and my inspiration was change the climate that why I using my title "Wonderful World" ! FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? PG: I am focus for rich women & ladies to give them another opportunity & change to wear my Haute Couture and don't waits the time! FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? PG: If I get it award I hope to be one of the famous designer in the world! FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? PG: I just using few days for my designing1 FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? PG: I just can say "Fashion" is not culture & creative in my dictionary means "Money" !!! FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? PG: It's depend of my client! They decide what they want, like if they want just for her wear of course I can do my self no need waits the time! if company of course should find a company to collaborate under my control and decision! FS: What made you design this particular type of work? PG: I am do my Haute Couture using my brand name FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work? PG: My favorite designers is Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto FS: Who is the target customer for his design? PG: Rich Women & Ladies FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean? PG: Senna Fernandes is my family name! Honor to be a part of family! My blood is Blue FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? PG: Evening gartment FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills? PG: I have a lot professional tailor FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design? PG: Should serious & hand made FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept? PG: I hate short time to finish my garment means the client not respect on me! FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition? PG: Everyone of designers should go for awards, without any award you can that the position at career FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work? PG: Should know what your way and what you focus in fashion design! FS: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions? PG: I hope for all designers should respect each others because not easy to be a family at Fashion design! More opportunity in meet each others!
