Interview with NedaGhadir at Friday 22nd of April 2016 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? NG: I was thinking of creating a new and fashionable piece, something to push the borders of common and predefined styles of wearing jewelries. Since this piece is designed and completed during Spring and summer, my fascination for beautiful colors of the nature was the other influential factor in designing this piece which truly represents this joy and beauty. Moreover, as a symbol of colorful beauty, peacock has inspired many jewelry designers as well as me, so, I was thinking of integrating my own interpretation of color, form and beauty of this bird in my design. And finally, being faithful to the core concept of this design (creativity), I blend it with the function of shawl in women’s wearing style, which according to me increases the dignity of a woman and make her look stunning. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? NG: It is part of a collection of unique high jewelry pieces I am working on for my future solo exhibition. FS: Who is the target customer for his design? NG: Anyone who likes unique pieces in new styles. It can be among royals, celebrities and collectionners. FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean? NG: Colorfall is combo of the word colorful and falling style of the shawl. FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? NG: The most unique aspect is the function of the piece which is not only worn as a jewelry piece but as a complementary to the women’s gown.
