Interview with Chen Hsiang Yu at Thursday 21st of April 2016 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? HC: Basing on simple concept and neat line. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? HC: We emphasizes the continuation in space and attempts to create tranquil and comfortable atmosphere. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? HC: We would like to do more good interior design. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? HC: About 1 year. FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? HC: Design to solve problem is our goal. FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work? HC: My partner Tai-Jung Yang helps me a lot. FS: Who is the target customer for his design? HC: Every one. FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean? HC: The space is just like a well but brightly.So we named it "Light Well". And also the light is very well. FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project? HC: Auto Cad,Sketch up FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? HC: Make complexity things to become simple.And be nice to environment. FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills? HC: My partner Tai-Jung Yang. FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work? HC: With great amount reading and observe arround Life.
