FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
CS: The main principle is create unique student dormitory and different experimental space for users.

FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
CS: Combining aesthetic issues and dormitory functions in undiscovered design solutions before.

FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
CS: I think this award give us to opening frame to the world.

FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
CS: In first, design concept cretaed in 2 months. Then application project took 4 months.

FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
CS: Our designs usually creating with experimental way.

FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
CS: This project is already produced.

FS: What made you design this particular type of work?
CS: For students.

FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
CS: No.

FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
CS: There is no customer. Users are students.

FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
CS: Its created in experimental way.

FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
CS: Koza ipek is the name of company that owner of the dormitory. Loft is come up with architectural concept.

FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
CS: Sketches, 3d and computer.

FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
CS: Core of the bedrooms of dormitory and working areas.

FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
CS: There are a lots of colloborations such as illumination, hvac, furniture and static firms.

FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
CS: Not technology but expereince is undiscovered before.

FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
CS: We resarched dormitory typoligies in the world.

FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
CS: Application process was in the limited times.

FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
CS: We beleive that create excellent and unique work on this project.

FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
CS: Lots of things..such as Coordination of the big projects in application process.

FS: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions?
CS: No it s good.
