Interview with Migle Vasiliauskaite Kotryna Zilinskiene at Tuesday 15th of April 2014 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? PS: Interior graphics telling different legends about the city of Druskininkai. Our aim was to resurrect the old with a new design. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? PS: Less direct narration, more symbols and metaphors. Less overload and boredom, more intriguing. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? PS: We hope that more and more people will spend their vacation in Sakà and learn legends about the region through our design. FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean? PS: Sakà is an archaic word meaning "story", "legend". We found it in synonym vocabulary. The best is that this word is not in use anymore, so people will learn it again. Educational purpose. FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? PS: Fresh and up to date design for very archaic legends. FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills? PS: In this project architect studio "sprik" were working on the interior part.
