FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
YS: I think the icon of royal or dragon cannot really cover the Chinese culture. In my opinion, the Chinese Culture should be more close real living style of the common and express in Chinese public.
FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
YS: I would like to use the typical Chinese flower's meaning of wishing to express on the updated Chinese layering technique.
FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
YS: Through this chance to share experience
FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
YS: around one month
FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
YS: I think human is getting on the track on I-generation (as 3D/4D dimension at fashion approach)
FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
YS: I have no intention to put this design on production, instead, I will feel great is somebody will appreciate it.
FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
YS: No. It is my own design and I complete it by myself.
FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
YS: Restructuring the leather belt.
FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
YS: Actually I haven't influences or conduct any research on my design. Instead, it was inspirited from the core of Chinese culture.
FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
YS: I would like to show my ideas and concept oversea or international platform
