FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
MV: The main principle of Fractalic is apperared random design, animated but straight geometrical look. Also important are exclusive wide cut mirror and geometrical variable decors.

FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
MV: Looks of Nonperiodic and random geometrical design in connection with real periodic structure usable for production.

FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
MV: Continue with production of variations, providing of all service of selling the product, and also important find the interested customers. Maybe begin with any cooperation with arcitects or other designers and develop this design in architectural projects.

FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
MV: The idea come up to me one year ago. During this one year time the idea growed and changed in visual and conceptual spheres tiil contemporary look. It was not continual work on this project, but time to time I work on it, and left the idea on its own live. I tis not possible to calculate the exact time, but I evaluate about 3 months of interrupted work.

FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
MV: This design is owned by mine as designer and also as owner of Fractal Atelier. We plan to produce and sell it ourselves, as other items of our atelier. But we are open to any ideas and possibilities of other companies or designers, which could lead to cooperation.

FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
MV: There is possible to say „young people“, but it seems to be limiting a bit. Mirror wall in this extraordinary design is meaned for every people interested in unconventional and original and also exclusive design. For every people who are bored with convetion interiors and who findig the fresh air in design.

FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
MV: The name had come up from title of fractas – geometrical structures generated by computer calculating. Altough they are computer made, they can be very variable, random and animated. The name also touch the part of word fragile – like glass and mirror are.

FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
MV: Generally this is really just my work – Im designer and also glass specialist. But I cooperated with some technical specialist from glass manufacturing companies.

FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
MV: Technology is important part of this design. Fractalic was created to be able manufactured by machines, but in touch of human hands and minds. To reach unique design also with human touch. Technology also deterimined the shapes and way of installation. The way of decoration i salso determined by technology. But the technology also can open other possibilities of this design in future.
