Interview with Francesco Ragazzi at Saturday 30th of March 2013 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? FR: The main idea behind this project was to create a new concept of hospitality spaces inside San Siro Stadium. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? FR: The main focus of this work was to create new business areas of the stadium in order to increase the annual turn over of the clients. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? FR: The success of this project has already increased the interest of the customers. The clients have decided to start the next stage of the project, the construction of other skylounge in San Siro stadium. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? FR: The designing process has taken nearly one year. FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? FR: This project was commissioned by a client. FS: Who is the target customer for his design? FR: The target customer of this project are the sponsors of the clients that should enjoy the events in a very special and comfortable location during the match day and the external guests who want to rent these spaces for their private events/meetings during the rest of the week. FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project? FR: When I am working on a new concept design I always develop the ideas on a sketch book. After the first concept I develop the ideas with different graphic softwares with the support of the team of my studio Ragazzi and Partners. FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills? FR: I have developed this project with Giancarlo Ragazzi and the team of our studio Ragazzi and Partners.
